Be Security Conscious During Summer Travel

When traveling this summer, refrain from conducting sensitive bank business over wireless connections and in areas with which you should be uncomfortable such as public vehicles, eateries and lobbies. Remember, some crimes are spur-of-the-moment actions of opportunity.

Secure valuable documents in a safe. Keep a close watch on your wallet, pocketbook, laptop, hand-held devices and briefcase. If you have to put larger items down momentarily in a public place, put them snugly between your ankles. Avoid wearing expensive jewelry, watches and the like.
